Mainland Sea Caves Powerboat Tour
This tour is an excellent way for you to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the world famous Mainland Sea Caves at an affordable price in a relatively short period of time with no physical demands on your part. If you love nature’s beauty and taking photos this is the tour for you. Your tour will depart the Cornucopia Harbor and travel over the open waters of Lake Superior to the famous Mainland Sea Caves. At key points in the tour, your Captain will provide you with a historical overview and information while you have ample time for excellent photo opportunities. As you return to the quaint village of Cornucopia you may even have a chance to see an Eagle. The entrance into the harbor is also very picturesque. This is our most requested tour, so book your adventure early!
This tour is normally a semiprivate tour meaning the tour is open for multiple parties to book but limited to a maximum of 6 passengers. For this tour to run we must have a minimum of 4 paid passengers. If we do not receive the minimum number of passengers, you will be offered to be rescheduled at no additional charge or given a refund. If you would like to still go, you have the option to purchase the private tour option. The private tour option may be available to be purchased at time of booking by contacting the Gift Shop. If the Captain cancels the tour for any reason (weather) you will receive a full refund.
For your convenience, you may book online in advance to get the best selection of available tours. For those that would prefer to book in person walk-ins are always welcome during normal business hours. Service fee still applies to Booking in person or over the phone.

Island Adventure Tour
If you are looking for a spectacular Island experience this is the tour for you. This tour will depart the Western Gateway of the Apostle Islands (Cornucopia) and travel to East Bay on Sand Island. If dock space is available we will dock so you can disembark the boat. If dock space is not available or the weather does not permit us to land at the dock you will have an opportunity to enjoy the fresh water of Lake Superior as you make your way to shore. While on Sand Island you will have an opportunity to do some hiking, tour the Historic Sand Island Lighthouse (lighthouse tours are contingent on NPS availability. Separate NPS fee applies) or enjoy some of the best beaches in the Apostle Islands. As long as everyone is on time returning to the boat your tour will pass the Sand Island Sea Caves then on to the Sand Island Lighthouse. You will have ample time for photos as we pass these scenic locations. On the return to Cornucopia you can sit back, relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of Lake Superior.

Private Sunset Tour
When is the best time to see the Devils Island Sea Caves? Just prior to Sunset of course! Our most requested Private Tour for couples is the Devils Island “nonstop” Sunset Tour from Cornucopia. This is an exclusive Private Tour. We depart from our Gift Shop at 6pm (weather permitting) for a stunning opportunity to see the Devils Island Sea Caves with the sun very low on the horizon. The sun illuminates the insides of the caves extremely well at this time of day. As a bonus on this trip we will pass the Raspberry Island Lighthouse. On the return trip we will pass the Sand Island Lighthouse just prior to Sunset for another great photo opportunity. Devils Island Sea Caves and three lighthouses in 3 hours. Talk about a romantic adventure.
This tour is ideal for couples but may accommodate up to 4 passengers.

Custom Water Taxi Adventure
We want you to enjoy the majestic beauty of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands by taking a Water Taxi to a destination of your choice and on your schedule. Our vessels can cruise at speeds ranging from a relaxing 25 MPH on up to 50 MPH when time is of the essence. Good Earth Outfitters LLC operates newer model and very safe Water Taxi Vessels. In addition to being locally born and raised, Captain Mike has been a Volunteer Lighthouse Keeper in the Apostle Islands. Captain Mike is able to draw from his personal experiences and provide you with a custom adventure that is not likely to be duplicated by others. We are confident you will not be disappointed.

All Water Taxi/Tour/Fishing and Dive boats that operate within the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore under a Commercial Use Authorization issued by the National Park Service are limited to 6 passengers. Please book your tour early so you are able to get your entire (max 6) party on the same vessel. If your party is larger than 6 you may be able to book multiple vessels at the same time. Please schedule large groups at least 7 days in advance.
Our vessels have limited handicap accessibility and are not recommended for infants, people with limited mobility or women in later term of a pregnancy. If extreme motion would affect your comfort you may want to consider other options to see the Apostle Islands. What should you bring? The weather on Lake Superior can change very fast. It is always a good idea to bring something in the event it starts to rain or gets cool. And do not forget that great attitude for a fun day of adventure!!!

What is included in a Camper Shuttle?
1. Water Taxi Service to and from an Island of your choice / Cornucopia
2. FREE pickup at an agreed upon date and time (Weather Permitting)
3. Map of the Island illustrating a Primary and Alternate pickup locations
4. A Commercial Radio for communications with Water Taxi on pickup day as the use of a Marine Radio on an Island is prohibited.
You MUST have in your possession a Camping Permit issued by the National Park Service.
One of the common question people ask is do we need to tip the Captain? In the United States people that work in the Service Industry commonly receive a gratuity if they provide excellent service. With that being said Gratuities are never required but are greatly appreciated.
All scheduled Boat Tours depart from the Good Earth Outfitters LLC Gift Shop located on the board walk along the Town of Bell Marina in Cornucopia, WI. Boat tours run from mid-May through mid-October. Please check-in 15 min prior to your tour.
